CONSUL GENERAL OF ARMENIA IN LOS ANGELES AMBASSADOR ARMEN BAIBOURTIAN MET WITH THE MAJORITY WHIP OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE ASSEMBLY JESSE GABRIEL

GLENDALE - On May 21, Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles Ambassador Armen Baibourtian held a virtual meeting with the California State Assembly member, Majority Whip Jesse Gabriel. During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed affairs pertinent to the Armenia-California cooperation agenda.

The Consul General expressed his appreciation to the Assembly Majority Whip Jesse Gabriel for his membership and active participation in the works of the California Armenian Legislative Caucus. Ambassador Baibourtian informed the Assembly Majority Whip about Azerbaijan's military incursions into the sovereign territories of Armenia along the Armenia-Azerbaijan borderline. He also thanked the California State Assembly member for his continued support.

Jesse Gabriel was first elected to the California State Assembly in June 2018. He serves as the Chair of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus. He represents the 45th Assembly District, which includes much of the west San Fernando Valley. Jesse Gabriel currently serves on standing committees on Appropriations, Banking and Finance, Higher Education, Housing and Community Development, and Privacy and Consumer Protection.
