CONSUL GENERAL OF ARMENIA AMBASSADOR BAIBOURTIAN MET WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ARMENIAN DEMOCRATIC LIBERAL PARTY (ADL) CENTRAL AND REGIONAL COMMITTEES

GLENDALE - On November 24, Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles Ambassador Armen Baibourtian met with the leaders of the Armenian Democratic Liberal (ADL) Party’s Central Committee and the Western Region District Committee upon their initiative. The meeting with the ADL representatives headed by the Chairman of the Western District Committee of ADL Dr. Raffi Balian took place at the Consulate General of Armenia. Ambassador Baibourtian presented details of the current state of the affairs in Armenia and Artsakh in the aftermath of the Azerbaijani instigated war, along with the details of the economic situation caused by the war and the pandemic. The ADL leaders presented their positions on the above-mentioned issues. They mentioned that they thoroughly understand the pain of the people and stressed the importance of being united today more than ever. Ambassador Baibourtian expressed his appreciation of the ADL efforts to support the Homeland in the war period.

At the end of the meeting, the ADL leaders laid flowers and lit candles in front of the images of the fallen heroes located in front of the Consulate General of Armenia, paying tribute to the memory of thousands of Armenian soldiers.
