Business Meeting at the Consulate General of Armenia in Los Angeles

On May 24, 2017, the Consulate General of Armenia in Los Angeles, in collaboration with #California Consulting LLC, held a meeting attended by heads of Chambers of Commerce, business consulting organizations, representatives and members of large and medium enterprises from the County of Los Angeles, Orange County, and the cities of Glendale and Los Angeles. During the meeting, Valery Mkrtoumian, representing the Consulate General of Armenia, presented the investment environment within Armenia, touching upon legislation, prospective sectors and business potential. Participants of the discussion also had the opportunity to take a look of international consulting company #KPMG’s analysis on Armenia’s investment opportunities, taxation policies and privileges provided to investors on behalf of the Armenian Government. Steve Samuelian, head of California Consulting LLC, noted that a new beginning of relations with the US business field has begun and the business discussions, aimed at implementing prospective investment programs in IT and other fields, will continue in the future. Speaking about future programs, Samuelian stated that a visit of representatives of several major US companies to Armenia is expected, during which these representatives will become acquainted with the investment field and assess the opportunities for mutual partnership.
