Consul General Anna Avetisyan participated in a commemorative event organized in the city of Montebello on the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Consul General Anna Avetisyan participated in the annual commemorative ceremony organized by the United Armenian Council for the Commemoration of the Armenian Genocide in Montebello, California, օn the occasion of the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide․

Consul General paid tribute by laying flowers at the memorial in honor of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The ceremony brought together the primates of the Western Diocese and the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the United States, as well as the leaders of the Armenian Catholic Eparchy of North America and Canada and the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America, alongside members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the California State Legislature. Representatives of Los Angeles County, the cities of Montebello and Glendale, as well as a large number of community institutions were also in attendance.
