Inaugural Gala Dinner of "ArmGenia" project.

On February 16, the inaugural Gala dinner of "ArmGenia" project of the Armenian International Medical Fund took place in Glendale. During the Gala Dr. Wayne Grody, professor of pathology and laboratory medicine, pediatrics, and human genetics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Mrs. Arpy Mazloumian of Sara Chitjian foundation were honored for their substantial input in the success of the "ArmGenia" project. Drs. Sevak Avagyan and Evgeni Sokurenko, co-founders of the ArmGenia Research Charitable Trust, Dr. Salpy Akaragian, director of the UCLA International Nursing Program, and the founder and President of the AIMF, Mr. Adrin Nazarian, Councilmember, City of Los Angeles, Dr. Karen Israyelyan, Consul General of Armenia in LA were among the speakers of the evening. Consul General Israyelyan appreciated all the past and current efforts of the Armenian International Medical Fund aimed at assisting Armenia in various medical fields.
