A meeting at Western Diocese with the members of the Armenian group, participated in Kakehashi project in Japan.

On December 11, a meeting with the 5-member group of Armenian Americans - participants of the Japanese Government sponsored "Kakehashi" project, who has recently visited Japan, took place at the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of America. His Eminence Hovnan Archbishop Derderian, Mr. Kenko Sone, Consul General of Japan and Dr. Karen Israyelyan, Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles, as well as the participants of “Kakehashi” project were among the participants and speakers of the evening. Ms. Laura Friedman, newly elected Congresswoman from California's 30h District also participated in the event.

Pieces of Armenian and Japanese music as well as national cuisine were presented during the evening.
