Meeting with Archbishop Hovnan Derderian

On January 11, Dr. Karen Israyelyan, Consul-General of Armenia in Los Angeles had a meeting with His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America.

Topics related to recent developments in Armenia and the region, as well issues concerning the Armenian community in the Western coast of the United States were discussed during the meeting. The important role of the Armenian Apostolic Church in strengthening the ties between Armenia and the Diaspora was emphasized.
