Consul General Armen Baibourtian’s Meeting With California Senators and Glendale City Leadership

On December 17, Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles Armen Baibourtian had a meeting with California State Senator Anthony Portantino, Senator Henry Stern, Glendale Mayor Zareh Sinanyan, and Glendale City Clerk Ardashes Kassakhian at Senator Portantino's office.
Consul General Baibourtian presented the outcome of Armenia's parliamentary elections and outlined prospects for political and socio-economic development in the country.
During the meeting, they discussed practical projects aimed at promoting economic, trade, educational, and cultural ties between Armenia and California and the institutional steps to enhance bilateral relations.
They agreed to have regular meetings to pursue the Armenia-California partnership agenda and to address those items of bilateral cooperation within the California State Senate.
