Consul General Armen Baibourtian received representatives of the Armenian Assembly of America

On Nov. 2, Consul General Armen Baibourtian received representatives of the Armenian Assembly of America (AAA) at the Consulate General.
The guest list included Talin Yacoubian, Lisa Kalustian, members of the Assembly’s Board of Trustees, Helen Haig and Al Cabraloff, members of the Southern California Regional Council of AAA, and Mihran Tumajan, Assembly’s Western Region Director.
During the meeting, Tumajan presented the activities of the Armenian Assembly of America, its cooperation with United States Congress and officials in the Western Region of the United States. The upcoming U.S. midterm elections were also discussed during the meeting.
Participants also spoke about the ways of strengthening the bonds between Armenia and the Armenian-American community in the U.S. West Coast.
