Consulate General of Armenia in LA hosted the exhibition of works by Armen Dagheyan, the artist from Armenia. Dozens of artworks by miniature painter were presented to LA audience.
"Based on the works of medieval Armenian miniature artists I have created a new, modern style. This is a new direction in Armenian miniature painting, "said Armen Daneghyan in his speech .
The collection of recent works by Armen Danielyan includes spiritual, national and philosophical themes. He is the author of numerous series including "Spiritual Armenia", "Genocide", "World Classics", "Dances of the World", " The greatest Armenians ", "Armenian Carpets" and more. His artworks have been exhibited in USA, Canada, France, Iran, Bulgaria and India.
Consul Armella Shakaryan in her opening speech underlined Armen Danielyan's importance in terms of presenting Armenian art beyond Armenia's borders. On behalf of the Consulate General she presented the artist with the certificate for his contribution to the dissemination of Armenian art and culture.
During the evening Armen Danielyan also received acknowledgements from California State Senator Anthony Portantino and the member of California State Assembly Adrin Nazarian.
