Honoring Elizabeth Agbabian in Los Angeles

On March 1, 2025 an event honoring Mrs. Elizabeth Agbabian, well-known Armenian American philanthropist, community activist took place in "California" club of Los Angeles. The event was organized by the American University of Armenia, which has been the main benefactor of Mrs. Agbabian's decades long philanthropy. Her late husband, Dr. Mihran Agbabian was the founding President of the AUA. During his speech, Dr. Karen Israyelyan, Consul General of Armenia in LA emphasized that the quality education, provided by institutions like the AUA, lies at the core of any nation's development and prosperity. He conveyed words of gratitude to Elizabeth Agbabian for her consistent and very important assistance to Armenia. Dr. Bruce Boghosian, President of the AUA also delivered a speech and presented the "Legacy of Grace" award to Mrs. Agbabian.
