Armenian Bar Association Annual Meeting

Dr. Karen Israyelyan, Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Los Angeles and Ms. Nazeli Hambardzumyan, Counselor of the Consulate General participated in the annual meeting of the Armenian Bar Association held in Los Angeles on January 26-27.

On January 26 a reception was organized in Brand Library and Art Center, where Honorary membership of the Armenian Bar Association was granted to Mr. Paul Krekorian, President of Los Angeles City Council and Mrs. Anahid Gharakhanian, Vice Dean, Southwestern Law School․ Among the guests of the reception were Mr. Anthony Portantino, Member of California Senate, Judge Amy Ashvanian, and other distinguished lawyers, academicians and law students, as well as Mr. Artak Beglaryan, former State Minister of Nagorno Karabakh and Mr. Gegham Stepanyan, Ombudsman of Nagorno Karabakh.

On January 27 the Armenian Bar Association held its annual meeting.
