On December 15, Karen Israyelyan, Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles received Evan G. Reade, International Affairs Advisor at the Office of California Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis and Jesse Gilgoff, Southern California External Affairs Representative at the Office of Lt. Governor. Issues of mutual interest as well as topics related to the further deepening of trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and California were discussed during the meeting. The Consul General briefed the guests on the security issues in the region, and on the latest developments in the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, putting a special emphasis on the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative of the Government of Armenia.
