“My Armenia” Pan-Armenian Festival

The Ministry of Diaspora is carrying out the 3rd “Im Hayastan” (“My Armenia”) Pan-Armenian Festival.

The goals and objectives of the “Im Hayastan” (“My Armenia”) Festival are to deepen ties and increase opportunities for cooperation between Armenia and Diaspora; contribute to the preservation of the Armenian culture and cultural identity; support the strengthening and development of the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora relations; support the development of new formats of cooperation; deepen ties between the young artists of Armenia and Diaspora, as well as assist in the elaboration and implementation of joint programs.

The following events are envisaged within the framework of the Festival:

1. “Days of Armenian Dance” (20-30 July)

2. “ Pan-Armenian Poetry Festival in Shushi” (1-5 August)

3. “Days of Choral Arts” (5-10 August)

4. “Festival of Duduk and Other Armenian Musical Instruments” (21-26 September)

5. “Day of Armenian Songs” (26 September)

6. Days of the Armenian Community of Russia in Armenia (October)

The festival will include concerts in Yerevan, Armenia’s provinces and Artsakh, as well as field trips to sites worth seeing in Armenia.

Dance groups, choirs, bands, orchestras and ensembles (trio, quartet, quintet, chamber, string and wind ensembles) and individual performers from different communities of Diaspora may take part in the festival.

Famous groups and individual performers from the Republic of Armenia and Artsakh will also take part in the Festival.

The participants will be selected by the organizing committee of the “Im Hayastan” (“My Armenia”) Pan-Armenian Festival, in accordance with the videos and recordings provided.

To participate in the festival, applicants need to complete the relevant application forms and send them to the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia to the following e-mail address: imhayastan.paraton@yahoo.com.

The Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia will cover food and accommodation expenses (for 3 days and 4 nights) for some of the participants (participants in need of accommodation ) within the framework of the 3rd “Im Hayastan” (“My Armenia”) Pan-Armenian Festival.

If necessary, the RA Ministry of Diaspora is ready to assist applicants in obtaining a free RA visa. Please inform us at least 45 days in advance in case of need.

Participating groups and individuals must submit a final concert program lasting up to 20 minutes (3-5 performances), a video of a performance from the past year, as well as booklets, pictures, posters and other materials.

The final program of the festival will be ready only after the applications are examined. Thus, we ask you to strictly follow the date of submission, which will guarantee the participation of the group or individual in the festival and the inclusion of groups and individual performers in the events program.
