The Consulate General hosted the exhibition of Emil Kazaz

On January 14, 2016 The Consulate General of Armenia in LA hosted the exhibition of a well-known sculptor and painter Emil Kazaz in its showroom. Mostly his recent works were shown, which had never been exhibited before. During the even the Consulate welcomed Armenian and foreign artists and Kazaz's art lovers. Minister Plenipotentiary Valery Mkrtoumian handed Emil Kazaz the gratitude letter of the President of the Republic of Armenia and the Arshile Gorky medal of the Ministry of Diaspora. Kazaz was also awarded with a Certificate of recognition by the President of the National Assembly of Armenia. Consul Armella Shakaryan welcomed everyone and noted that the Consulate General of Armenia is ready to present Armenian artists under its roof, thus promoting Armenian culture and national traditions to the art lovers of California.
