On May 7, Dr. Karen Israyelyan, Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles had a meeting with Honorable Ara Najarian, newly elected Mayor of Glendale. The parties discussed topics related to the Armenian community of Glendale, the activities of the City Council, as well as the situation in Armenia and the region. Consul General Israyelyan congratulated Mr. Najarian for assuming the duties of Mayor and offered to explore the possibilities of organizing joint events and projects.
