Mr. Vahagn Khachaturyan, the President of the Republic of Armenia, was on a working visit in the US state of California on 6-11 May, 2024. The President of Armenia had meetings with Gavin Newsom, Governor of California, Karen Bass, Mayor of Los Angeles, Paul Krekorian, President of the City Council of Los Angeles, the Mayors of Glendale and Pasadena, Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of Armenian Church of North America, Bishop Mikael Mouradian, Primate of Armenian Catholic Eparchy, Rev. Hendrik Shanazarian, Senior Pastor of the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America, Dr. Nazareth Darakjian, AMAA board president, as well the representatives of various Diasporan organizations, traditional political parties and etc. A special part of the President's Agenda was the visit to some of the renowned IT companies in the Silicon valley and meetings with their leaders.
