AIWA’s Group Visits the Consulate General of Armenia in LA

On January 9th, the group of the Armenian International Women’s Association (AIWA) visited the Consulate General of Armenia in Los Angeles. Consul General Armen Baibourtian addressed the AIWA ladies and expressed his vigorous support in implementation of this nonprofit organization’s targeted projects. In their turn, AIWA’s members assured the Consul General in their resolve to incessantly contribute to realization of the Consulate General’s key objectives. AIWA’s mission is to promote and enrich the social, economic, and personal advancement of Armenian women worldwide through educational and other community activities that unite Armenian women to promote gender equity, and emphasize the Armenian cultural heritage.
